Club Activities: Club 99 members can Bowl for free on Thursday afternoons in exchange for the Club managing the the Bowling Centre. You can also play cards, shuffle board or just have coffee & socialize on Thursday afternoons and evenings.

ATTENTION EVERYONE WHO IS YOUNG, OLD, OR SOMEWHERE IN-BETWEEN, AS WELL AS EVERYONE WHO IS EXTREEMLY HEALTHY, KINDA HEALTHY, OR NOT-SO-HEALTHY--THIS MESSAGE IS FOR YOU!!!

Bonnie Anderson, an Exercise Therapist for the Saskatoon Health Region has agreed to attend the Wednesday morning walking program at the Wakaw Rec Centre to teach us the correct way to "warm-up" before walking, mild streching exercises to do before, and during walking, as well as "cool-down" exercises.  Many of these exercises are done while sitting, and are definately NOT difficult. Anyone with a specific problem, such as osteoporisis, or joint replacements are encouraged to attend, but please advise Bonnie of your condition because there are a few exercises you should not do, and Bonnie is quick to advise people (in a general way)  NOT to partake in certain activities.

The EMT's will be in attendance at 9:00 AM to assist Bonnie in taking the walkers  blood pressure before we start activities -- We were a bit concerned when they came in untill Bonnie explained they were here for the blood pressure thing, and then we still wondered why they didn't join us in the low impact exercises!  They are geared for everyone!

This program is designed to help people keep, or regain their muscle mass.  It is NOT designed to create body builders---and if you tire, you just sit and relax until you are ready to continue.

Everyone is invited to join us every Wednesday Morning at 9:00AM SHARP (-please do NOT be late) for some easy but healthy fun and exercise.  For Club 99 members your cost is included in your yearly membership--All other people will be charged a one time nomimal fee of $10.00 FOR THE WHOLE YEAR.  Please join us
