Medical Clinic at the Wakaw Hospital is served by two part time doctors: Dr. Z. Gwiazda & Dr. P. Lekota. Three part time Nurse Practitioners are also part of the Clinic Health Care Team: Debbie MacDonald N.P., Arlene Eckert N.P. and Kate Cote N.P.

A Nurse Practitioner works within the primary health care model and can provide many of the same services as a family physician, including prescribing many common medications.
